Job Summary:
The Forensic Pathology Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Forensic Pathologist in conducting autopsies, collecting and analyzing evidence, and assisting in the determination of cause and manner of death. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Forensic Pathologist in conducting autopsies and post-mortem examinations on deceased individuals, following established protocols and procedures.

3. Collect and preserve evidence during autopsies, ensuring proper documentation and chain of custody procedures are followed.
4. Accurately record observations, measurements, and findings during autopsies, maintaining detailed and comprehensive case notes.
5. Assist in the collection of biological samples, such as blood, tissue, and fluids, for analysis and testing purposes.
6. Prepare and package specimens for laboratory analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
7. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
8. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to autopsy findings, including cause and manner of death determinations.
